MYM Recruitment are working with our client, a leading manufacturer and distribution company based in the Magherafelt area. They currently have a vacancy for a Maintenance Fitter at their site.
Monday-Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm
As a Maintenance Fitter within this company, you would be working on a range of process and production equipment. The main duties are to:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the factory.
- Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and production stoppages.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Assist with installation, modification and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
- Identify recurring faults and recommend improvements to increase plant reliability.
- Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately.
- Work safely in accordance with company procedures, risk assessments and relevant legislation.
- Follow isolation, lock-out/tag-out and permit-to-work procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the engineering and production areas.
Essential Criteria:
- Have experience in heavy plant maintenance and be prepared to work as part of a team.
- This job will require liaising with production staff and a flexible approach to problem solving.

Pay: £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
