As a teacher you will need to be able to perform all the general duties expected of a teacher such as, but not limited to:
- Delivering lessons.
- Keep up to date with developments in subject area and national objectives.
- Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development.
- Taking on pastoral duties and managing pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises.
- Communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole-school training events.
- Undergo regular observations and participate in regular in-service training (INSET) as part of continuing professional development (CPD).
Hours are typically from Mon - Tues 8.15am until 3pm. 8.15 until 12pm Friday
