Excelerate Technology is a leader in complex communication solutions, delivering critical connectivity and technology services to customers around the world. We are looking for a Network Services Manager to take responsibility for the operational management, administration and commercial oversight of our network and platform-based services.
The Challenge: This is a varied role at the heart of our Technical team. You will be responsible for ensuring our customer and internal services are effectively managed, accurately documented and commercially controlled. From cellular connectivity and satellite communications to video streaming and secure file-sharing platforms, you'll coordinate multiple service streams while working closely with our Technical, Sales and Finance teams and external service providers.
What you’ll lead:
- Service Management: Maintain a comprehensive and accurate service register, ensuring services, contracts, subscriptions and service-related assets are properly recorded and managed.
- Network & Services: Oversee the operational performance of services including cellular connectivity, satellite communications, video streaming platforms and secure file-sharing solutions.
- Provisioning: Support the provisioning, modification, suspension and termination of services, ensuring services are correctly managed and recorded.
- Commercial: Oversee the commercial administration of services, including contract and renewal tracking, invoice reconciliation, service margins and identifying opportunities for cost control and optimisation.
- Suppliers: Manage relationships with network operators and service providers, coordinating with them to support effective service delivery.
- Systems: Administer internal systems relating to mobile contracts, SIM allocations and CRM platforms, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
- Billing: Work closely with Finance to ensure recurring services are accurately provisioned and billed.
- Governance: Maintain documentation covering service processes and governance, ensure adherence to company policies, data protection requirements and contractual obligations, and support audit and compliance activities.
- Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows and service administration processes, helping to ensure our services remain well controlled and efficiently managed.
Who you are: You're an organised, analytical and commercially aware professional who is comfortable working in a technical environment. You have excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple service streams while maintaining accurate records and clear processes.
You'll ideally have experience within telecoms, connectivity, managed services or a similar technical environment, together with experience managing supplier relationships, service contracts or recurring services. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with CRM or comparable business platforms are important, as is the ability to monitor costs, billing and service margins.
Experience with cellular or satellite communication services, recurring revenue service models or structured service management methodologies such as ITIL would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you're proactive, self-motivated and confident coordinating with multiple stakeholders. You'll work closely with our Technical Engineers, Sales and Finance teams, as well as external suppliers and network operators, so strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential.
