Full time Animal Nursing assistant at Needham Market Veterinary Centre
Our wonderful ANA Anna will be embarking on her Nursing training next year. This leaves us with a full time ANA position to fill. We would like to get someone started in the role so that they are trained up prior to Anna starting her training.
The role:
We are looking for an energetic, passionate and caring person to be our new nursing assistant. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the care of inpatients
- Setting up theatre and prep areas
- Running lab samples
- Cleaning and infection control
- Call handling
Full training can be given, but the right attitutude and energy for the role is most important.
The practice:
Needham Market Veterinary Centre are an independently owned small animal practice, we have been open 1.5 years and our sister practice Bury St Edmunds veterinary practice has been open 7 years.
We pride ourselves on providing compassionate veterinary care. We have a wonderful client base and fantastic team.
The offer:
- The position is 38h a week (full time) over 4 or 5 days. £26,600 PA. We are a living wage foundation accredited employer.

- You will be expected to participate in the weekend rota at our Bury St Edmunds Practice which is on a 1 in 6 weekends (sat (8-4) and sun (9-12)), for which TOIL in the week is given.
