Dental Therapist - 2 to 3 days per week - start date end of September 2026
ABOUT US
Tower Dental is an established private practice in Blackpool. We have a settled clinical and support team, an established and growing patient list, and modern, well-equipped surgeries. The practice runs on Dentally.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a GDC-registered Dental Therapist to join us 2 to 3 days a week from the end of September. We can be flexible on which days. You would work to the full scope of a therapist's GDC-registered practice, including:
- Direct access and prescribed treatment
- Scale and polish, periodontal therapy and stabilisation
- Restorations on adult and paediatric teeth
- Paediatric care, including extraction of deciduous teeth
- Oral health education, prevention and smoking cessation advice
- Radiographs, if you hold the relevant qualification
You will have full nursing support for every session, your own clinical time, and treatment plans built with the dentists rather than handed to you at the last minute.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Current GDC registration as a Dental Therapist (essential)
- Valid professional indemnity (essential)
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (essential)
- Up-to-date CPD and immunisation status
- Confident working independently, and comfortable referring back to the dentists when needed
- A good communicator - our patients like to know what is happening and why
- Dentally experience is useful but not essential; we will train you on it
