Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to oversee and coordinate our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation management systems, facilitating efficient shipping and receiving processes, and supporting supply chain activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong analysis and communication skills to contribute to the optimisation of our logistics functions within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Manage and update transportation management systems such as Skiptrak to ensure accurate data entry and real-time tracking of skip movements.
- Assist customer with bookings and query with a high level of customer service.
- Maintain comprehensive records in regards to Transport operations and customer accounts.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and clients using professional phone etiquette and clear written correspondence.
- Utilise transportation management systems to schedule deliveries, track skips, and resolve any issues that arise during the working day.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics or transportation administration
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
- Competent in data entry with high attention to detail
- Familiarity with logistics operations.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
