Charles Muddle Ltd are looking for an experienced HGV & Heavy Static Plant Engineer working within the Metal Recycling Industry.
As an HGV & Plant Fitter, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a wide range of equipment:
· Carrying out MOT inspections and preparations
· Service, maintain and repair plant, heavy static machinery, HGV’s and trailers (Everything)
· Hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics
· Run diagnostics on vehicles using a range of equipment and diagnose faults efficiently
· Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed
· Other general work as required by the Management Team
What we’re looking for:
· MUST have previous experience of HGV servicing and repairs
· MUST have previous experience of plant servicing and repairs
· A good understanding of DVSA maintenance & road worthiness standards
· Strong mechanical and fault findings skills
· IRTEC qualification preferred but not necessary
· Experience of using diagnostic equipment such as Jaltest
· HGV Licence would be a bonus (but not essential)
Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
