Job Overview
Care One 2 One is looking for friendly, respectful and reliable female care/support workers to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys making a real difference to people’s lives. This role mainly requires you to be a driver and have access to a vehicle.
We can accept walkers in the Llanbradach, Lansbury Park Areas of Caerphilly.
Due to the personal care needs, privacy and dignity of the people we support, this role is open to female applicants only. This is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Available Shifts and Pay
· Weekend evenings: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 4.30pm–11.00pm – £15.00 per hour + mileage
· Weekend mornings: 7.00am–2.00pm – £14.00 per hour + mileage
· Monday to Thursday evenings 4.30pm-11pm – £13.50 per hour + mileage
· Minimum commitment: 2 regular shifts per week
Duties
- Assist with mobility and transfer support
- Administer medication
- Prepare meals tailored to dietary requirements
- Assist with nighttime routines
- Support clients with activities such as toileting and hygiene routines
- Maintain detailed records of care provided and observations
Qualifications
- Prior experience of home care is desirable
- Knowledge of dementia, is advantageous
- Ongoing training will be provided if necessary
- Valid driving licence
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
- Flexibility to work weekday evenings and weekends as scheduled

Following a successful interview, you will receive training alongside practical working experience with one of our experienced mentors before taking on shifts yourself.
