The White Swan Hotel is a well-established Victorian hotel located in the heart of the historic town of Halifax. Operating since 2021, the hotel designed en-suite bedrooms, dining facilities, meeting and conference facilities, and a variety of private and corporate events throughout the year.
The hotel has experienced steady growth in both leisure and business customers and continues to expand its services to meet increasing demand. With a strong reputation for hospitality, quality service and customer satisfaction. The business is committed to further growth by increasing occupancy levels, expanding conference and event bookings, strengthening its digital presence, and developing new commercial opportunities within the hospitality sector.
As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Manager to lead our marketing activities, enhance brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and support the hotel's long-term commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase hotel occupancy, customer engagement and revenue.
- Manage the hotel's website, social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- Promote accommodation, dining, meetings, conferences, weddings and special events.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, tourism organisations and event organisers.
- Plan and oversee advertising, promotional and public relations campaigns.
- Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports for senior management.
- Manage brand communications and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
- Support business development initiatives to increase bookings, event sales and customer retention.
- Work closely with management to achieve occupancy, revenue and growth targets.
Requirements
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, International Business, Business Management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management and brand development.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies.
- Experience within the hospitality, tourism, hotel or service sector would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to the commercial growth of the business.
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
