We are seeking a skilled and dependable Labourer on self employed basis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various construction, maintenance, and installation tasks across project in Millerhill area. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and clearing of work sites, ensuring safety and organisation.
- Support skilled tradespeople by fetching, carrying, and handling materials and tools.
- Perform basic construction tasks such as mixing materials, digging trenches, or assembling structures under supervision.
- Operate manual and powered tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by disposing of waste materials appropriately.
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support the organisation of equipment, materials, and supplies on-site to facilitate smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is essential. Including demolition/downtaking works.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites.
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; however, the ability to travel between sites is beneficial.
