Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates to care plans and progress notes using IT systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Support transportation needs by driving residents or clients safely to appointments or outings when required.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a clean, safe environment for everyone.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members.
- Basic IT literacy is required for documentation and updating electronic care records.
- A valid driving license is preferred to support transportation duties.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
