Duties
- Welcome customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs while providing exceptional service. Training provided.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards. Training provided.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately while being responsible for opening and closing the store. Training provided.
- Restock shelves with products and supplies to ensure the store remains inviting and well-organized.
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure the health of customers and compliance with regulations.
- Consistently contribute and champion the social media aspect of the brand by creating content and finding new ways for customers to interact with us.
Skills
- Prior experience as a barista or in serving food and beverages is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards at all times is preferred but training will be provided regardless to refresh practices.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently across both retail and hospitality in store.
- Tech savvy approach to interact with the till systems and the social media account.
- Ability to work well within a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as business needs dictate.
- FSA Level 2 training provided if needed.
