The role
As our Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.
This is a hands-on leadership role – you’ll lead by example on the warehouse floor while supporting, motivating, and developing your team to deliver against operational targets and service expectations.
Key responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently
Lead, motivate, and support warehouse colleagues to maintain high performance standards
Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, and dispatch activities
Allocate workload and manage priorities to meet delivery deadlines
Conduct stock checks and audits, maintaining accurate inventory records
Manage documentation and ensure operational accuracy
Work closely with internal teams to meet customer requirements
Identify and address performance or process improvements
Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
What you’ll bring
Essential:
Experience working in a warehouse environment
Previous team leader or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of goods in/out processes
Valid forklift licence (counterbalance essential and reach licence also preferable)
Good knowledge of health & safety practices
Strong communication and organisational skills
Reliable, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
Desirable:
Experience working with multiple product lines
Exposure to fast-paced distribution environments
Management or health & safety training/qualifications
