We are looking for extroverted, outgoing individuals to join our team as Entertainment Hosts in Leicestershire, to host pub quiz nights and karaoke evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quiz nights with an enthusiastic, engaging energy (public speaking!)
- Encourage guests to sign up for quiz and/or karaoke
- Operate karaoke equipment (PA system, karaoke software etc), take requests and queue songs
- Maintain a high level of energy and a fun atmosphere throughout the evening
Candidate requirements:
- Must have own car and valid driver’s license.
- Must have own laptop for software operation.
- Must be able to commit to specific days of the week (you can choose which days, as long as you can commit to it on a weekly basis)
- Live locally: this is a permanent role, therefore we are unable to accept applications from students who don't live nearby and need to go home for extended half-terms/summer breaks etc.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to entertain and engage an audience
- be comfortable with public speaking
- have strong organisational skills. We provide you with all equipment & materials, but you need to make sure you bring them with you, you're on time, etc.
- Previous experience in entertainment, hospitality, or sales is a plus
Additional information:
- Shifts are 2-4 hours long and are in the evening, between 6-12 pm, depending on the venue
- Shifts are predictable and consistent across weeks
- Although this is a 0-hour contract, it is pretty stable work that you can plan around. Once we agree which days of the week you would like to do, they are yours - the only reason you wouldn't work them is if the venue cancels on us, otherwise they are always yours.
