We are looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver to join our clients transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for safety-focused, reliable driver who takes pride in delivering exceptional service while operating to the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities;
As a Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials while ensuring full compliance with company procedures and current legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating company vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
- Safely loading and transporting hazardous goods in line with ADR and relevant legislation.
- Operating and handling tanker equipment safely and effectively.
- Delivering hazardous materials to customers, providing a professional service and reporting any issues promptly.
- Reporting incidents in accordance with company procedures.
- Completing all delivery documentation and associated paperwork accurately.
- Managing tachograph records in compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations.
- Working within the requirements of the Working Time Directive (WTD).
- Representing the compay professionally and courteously at all customer sites.
- Complying with all company policies, road traffic legislation and industry regulations.
About You - To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A full UK Category C+E Driving Licence (maximum of 6 penalty points).
- A valid ADR Certificate.
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- A minimum of two years' Class 1 driving experience.
- Experience operating tanker vehicles (desirable but not essential if training is available).
- A strong commitment to health, safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, nights away from home and overtime when required.
- A reliable, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

- Dark pay (20:00hrs - 06:00hrs) at £3.44phr
