Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to creating a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas whilst also completing tasks within designated timeframes.
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and efficiently
- Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK Driving license (Essential)
- Based in Essex, Ideally Chelmsford
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment such as a Carpet Cleaning Machine is advantageous
- Experience with certain types of cleaning such as Oven Cleaning or End-of-Tenancy Cleaning is advantageous
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.

- Paid weekly via PAYE Starting at £100 a day (Every Tuesday with a week in arrears)
