We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the smooth running of a busy kitchen environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness, assisting chefs, and ensuring all kitchen operations run efficiently.
We are looking for someone with a positive and enthusiastic approach who can work both independently and as part of a team.
This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
The Role
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, food preparation areas, and floors
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing and chopping vegetables
- Support the organisation and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Ensure all stock is properly labelled and stored in line with standards
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any faults or issues
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including hygiene and food handling practices
- Contribute to a smooth and efficient kitchen workflow at all times
