Onegen Construction Ltd is growing, and we need a hands-on tradesperson who doesn't just do joinery, but can move between jobs without missing a beat. Our work is mainly media wall builds and interior fit-out, so if you can frame and clad a media wall, hang a door, and skim a room in the same week, we want to hear from you. Semi-skilled candidates are welcome — we train you up before putting you on jobs.

About the Role
This is a multi-trade role built around media wall construction, joinery, and plastering. Before you're sent out on jobs, we'll train you on our methods and standards. A year in, you'll be someone we can put on almost any interior job with confidence — from framing a media wall to snagging the finished room — without needing a different tradesperson called in each time.
What You'll Do
- Build and clad media walls, including framing, insulation, and finishing
- Carry out first and second fix joinery, including doors, skirting, architrave, and fitted units
- Prepare and finish plastering work — skimming, patch repairs, and making good after other trades
- Read basic drawings and specs, and work out material needs for the day's job
- Move between multiple sites and switch trades as the schedule demands
- Keep your work area tidy and safe, and flag any issues to the site manager early
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Some hands-on experience in joinery, interior fit-out, or a related trade — semi-skilled applicants welcome, full training given before you're placed on jobs
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to turn your hand to media wall building and plastering as the job needs
Preferred:
- Prior experience building media walls or interior feature walls
- Experience with plastering to a good finish
- Previous experience in domestic refurbishment or new-build
Pay & Hours
£15–£20 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time, based around jobs in and near Rochdale. All tools provided.
