This is a high-impact role perfect for an active contractor, semi-retired installer, or experienced educator looking to share real-world expertise and help close the net-zero skills gap.
Courses You Will Tutor
- Solar Photovoltaic Systems (Level 3 - BPEC, NOS Mapped): Training learners on PV installation, grid connection standards, and system design and others depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on tutoring sessions and practical workshops for bootcamp and short course cohorts.
- Mentor adult learners and career-changers step-by-step through safe installation practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and ensure compliance with awarding body standards (BPEC).
- Champion sustainability, safe working practices, and net-zero technology adoption.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong practical background in solar PV installations and battery storage (EESS).
- Solid understanding of single and three-phase safe isolation protocols.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., Level 3 NVQ, 18th Edition, BPEC certification).
- A formal teaching/assessing qualification (e.g., A1, C&G 6317, PTTLS/CET) is a bonus, but not essential if this is your passion.
