About the role
You will visit a small, familiar round of clients in their own homes, delivering personalised support in line with each person's care plan. Most of our carers tell us the same thing: it is the conversations, the trust and the small daily wins that make the job worth doing
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care — supporting clients with washing, dressing, grooming and continence needs, always protecting their dignity, privacy and choice.
- Medication support — prompting and assisting with medication in line with the care plan, and recording it accurately.
- Meals and household tasks — preparing fresh, appetising meals, light cleaning and laundry.
- Companionship — friendly conversation, social visits and help to stay connected with the people and activities that matter.
- Recording and reporting — keeping clear, accurate notes and raising any change in a client's health, wellbeing or circumstances with the office promptly.
