Summary
As a Coffee Shop Team Member, you will be an essential part of our hospitality team, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. No prior experience is required, as we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Your core skills in serving and barista experience will be complemented by your knowledge of food safety and food preparation. With strong time management and basic math skills, you will efficiently handle orders and contribute to a smooth operation in our vibrant coffee shop environment. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays for coffee shop.
Hours will be 24 per week spread over 4 days
Extra evening shifts may be available for functions may be available, mainly Friday & Saturday Evenings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages with attention to quality and presentation.
- Ensure food safety standards are met during food preparation and service.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area.
Qualifications
- Barista experience preferred but not required
- Strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in food preparation
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
- Experience of baking would be beneficial
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
