About the Role
This role exists to provide high-quality administrative and operational support that enables the smooth running of day-to-day business activities. The Administrative Assistant supports colleagues and managers by coordinating processes, maintaining systems, and ensuring effective communication across the organisation. The role contributes to efficient service delivery and supports D2’s wider goal of delivering safe, high-quality temporary accommodation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing diaries.
- Manage correspondence and act as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and business databases (digital and paper).
- Order and manage office supplies and equipment to support business operations.
- Update and maintain internal systems to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
- Support colleagues and managers with day-to-day operational tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support business needs.

- Experience supporting operational processes and contributing to service improvements.
- Awareness of confidentiality, data handling, and professional standards.
Qualifications & Training
- Relevant administrative or business support training (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent systems.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
