Service Manager – Supported Accommodation for Autistic Adults
Salary: £31,365 Per Annum
Hours: 37.5 hours (plus on-call)

Role Summary:
We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead a supported accommodation service for autistic adults in Bath.
The service supports adults to develop independence, access appropriate support and achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership across the service, ensuring high standards of support, effective team performance and a positive environment
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic leader to manage a supported accommodation service for autistic adults.
You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the service, ensuring contractual and organisational standards are met while creating a positive, supportive environment where both staff and clients can thrive.
Working closely with internal colleagues, commissioners and external partners, you will drive continuous service improvement, develop effective partnerships and ensure positive outcomes for the people supported.
You will maintain a visible and active presence within the service, providing strong leadership and ensuring that agreed improvements are implemented effectively.
About You:
- Knowledge and understanding of working with autistic adults and their care and support needs.
- Previous managerial experience within the sector, including managing teams through change.
- Experience promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork and high performance.
- Experience of property management.
- Experience managing budgets and achieving value for money within services or projects.
- Experience working in partnership with Local Authority Commissioners.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- The ability to motivate, develop and support staff to deliver high-quality services.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strong understanding of person-centred support and positive outcomes.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering excellent services.
- The ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, commissioners and external agencies.
