We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Driver to join our growing team.
This is a full-time, permanent position delivering materials to construction sites across London and the South East. The role involves regular driving in Central London and around the M25, so previous experience in these areas is essential.
The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, day shifts, with occasional weekend work and nights out required to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials safely and efficiently to construction sites.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all road transport regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Follow company health and safety procedures and FORS requirements.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Category CE (Class 1) HGV Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Experience driving in Central London and around the M25
- Good understanding of FORS E-Learning requirements
- Full PPE
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Safe Urban Driver CPC Module/Certificate
- Clean driving licence (preferred but not essential)
