About the Role:
Embers Fires is a specialist in supplying and installing woodburning stoves. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Installation Assistant to join our team and train toward becoming a fully qualified HETAS Installer over the next few years.
No prior experience is required – full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the installation of woodburning stoves and flue systems
- Working on-site at customer properties (indoor and outdoor work)
- Manual lifting of stoves and materials with a team member
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Comfortable working at heights (e.g. rooftops, scaffolding)
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Flexible with working hours – some jobs may overrun or finish earlier than expected
- Must be presentable and respectful in customer homes
Hours:
Monday to Friday
40 hours per week - maybe 32 hours a week in the summer if we are quiet.
Pay:
£13.00–£15.00 per hour depending on attitude, and suitability
Regular reviews with opportunities for progression and increased pay as you become a Lead Installer
