Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic working environment.
Duties
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Preparing work areas by cleaning and organising tools and supplies
- Supporting tradespeople and other team members with general tasks
- Moving materials around the site using manual handling equipment or by hand
- Assisting in the maintenance of site safety protocols and reporting hazards
- Participating in site clean-up activities at the end of shifts
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction environment is advantageous but not essential
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on-site
- A proactive attitude with strong organisational skills
- own transport essential to get to site or a meeting point.
