Sales Operator - Tamworth
Location: Tamworth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Ziegler UK is a leading provider of international logistics and supply chain solutions, delivering road, air, sea and customs services across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Operator to join our Tamworth team.
As a Sales Operator, you will take ownership of a portfolio of customers, managing their shipments from initial booking through to final invoicing. You will be the main point of contact for your customers, ensuring excellent service, proactive communication, and the smooth coordination of transport with suppliers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer bookings and transport requirements
- Coordinating collections and deliveries to ensure deadlines are met
- Building strong relationships with customers and transport providers
- Ensuring accurate data entry, costing and invoicing
- Monitoring shipment progress and resolving any issues quickly
- Supporting the wider team to maintain exceptional service levels
We're looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in transport, logistics or road freight is desirable, along with knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and customs processes, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
