We have an exciting opportunity to work in our new restaurant in Newlyn, Penzance. We are looking for a new bubbly and efficient team member to help build Casa Tapa and to work alongside our current restaurant in Falmouth.
Here at Casa Tapa we are passionate about food and service. We want to make sure our customers feel happy and comfortable as soon as they arrive and are well looked after while dining with us. We are still a new business but already have a growing following and reputation for great food and atmosphere. We are looking for someone who cares for their work and has pride in what they do. Knowledge of drinks and previous experience is required. Training will be provided however to the successful candidate. If you want to be a part of a happy and passionate team, then this is the role for you. Knowledge of Wine, cocktails and customer service is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with any inquiries or requests
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised front of house
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Ensure check backs are carried out.
- Making and serving a range of cocktails and drinks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of drinks and food will help in this role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: £11.80-£13.50 per hour
