We're recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a team of engineers on a stable and growing contract based on a static commercial facility in Filton.
In this role, you will join a team of engineers carrying out a variety of planned preventative and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems, whilst assisting other engineers across building services disciplines where required.

Job Responsibilities for an Air Conditioning Engineer:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
- Servicing, fault finding and repairing split systems, VRV/VRF systems, fan coil units, AHUs and associated HVAC equipment
- Performing routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with current regulations
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime across the site
- Completing refrigerant leak checks and ensuring compliance with F-Gas legislation
- Working alongside subcontractors and other engineering disciplines to deliver maintenance and project works
- Completing maintenance reports, service sheets and statutory compliance documentation
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
Experience/Requirements for an Air Conditioning Engineer:
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification (Essential)
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
- Proven experience maintaining commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a range of HVAC equipment
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance within commercial environments
- Understanding of health & safety procedures and compliance within live building environments
