Part-Time Bakery Picker & Delivery Driver
Our small, family-run bakery in Raglan, right next to the Castle, is looking for a reliable, physically fit person to join us for Friday & Saturday morning deliveries.
5:00am START — yes, you read that right!
FRIDAY & SATURDAY
Approximately 9–12 hours per week
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Picking, packing & labelling orders
Making sure the right bread goes to the right customer
Loading up and delivering to local shops, restaurants & businesses
Moving boxes and trays of bakery goodies — bread is surprisingly heavy!
Keeping the packing and delivery area clean & tidy
THE HARDEST PART?
Product knowledge!
There are more types of bread, rolls, pastries and baked goodies than you might imagine. But don’t worry — we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Someone who is:
✔ Physically fit and comfortable lifting and carrying bakery products
✔ Reliable and punctual — especially at 5am!
✔Organised and has a good eye for detail
✔Happy working at a fast morning pace
✔Friendly and polite with customers
✔A confident driver with a clean driving licence
You don’t need to be a professional baker. You just need to be reliable, switched on, reasonably strong and able to tell a sourdough from a sausage roll!
The upside? You’ll be finished and on with your day while everyone else is still trying to find the snooze button.
