Ride Operator – Seasonal Position
APPLICANTS MUST BE 18 or over.
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is looking for Ride Operators to join our team for the busy summer season.
Full training will be provided; however, applicants must be confident following safety procedures and working with members of the public.
You will be required to work on all open days (excluding rest days). Please see our website for opening hours/day.

Main purpose of the role
To operate rides safely and efficiently while ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all visitors.
Responsible to: Park Operations Manager
Main duties include:
- Operating rides in accordance with company procedures and the training provided.
- Greeting visitors in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
- Delivering good customer service throughout each visitor’s experience.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures, company policies, and ride operating instructions at all times.
- Reporting any suspected ride fault or malfunction to maintenance staff and management immediately.
- Checking that visitors have a valid wristband or ride credits before entering the ride.
- Scanning visitors on entry where required.
- Keeping the ride area and operating booth clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Recording and reporting any incidents witnessed while on duty.
- Following company policies and procedures, including those relating to equal opportunities, harassment, and social media.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties in line with the role.

- The ability to follow instructions and procedures carefully.
- A clean and tidy appearance.
- The ability to wear uniform in a neat and respectable manner at all times.
- Reliability and willingness to work during busy periods, including weekends and school holidays.
