Service & Maintenance | Oxford
Salary: £35,000-£49,000 basic + OTE up to £55,000 | Company Van | 24/7 Call-Out Rota
We are looking for an experienced
Commercial / Domestic Gas Engineer to join our busy and expanding Service & Maintenance Department.
Working with a diverse portfolio of private and commercial clients, you'll attend sites ranging from large private residences to
colleges, universities, pharmaceutical facilities and other commercial buildings.
The role covers sites across the central and southern counties, within approximately an
80-mile radius of Oxford. A company van will be provided for travel to and from sites.
The Role
As part of our Service & Maintenance team, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical services, including:

Carrying out planned maintenance on boilers, heating, plumbing and ventilation systems

Attending breakdowns, repairs and fault-finding visits
-
Participating in the 24/7 call-out rota on a rotational basis

Installing pipework and plumbing systems
-
Replacing electrical/mechanical components
-
Working across both domestic and commercial environments
-
Completing service reports and relevant documentation
-
Assisting with the preparation and submission of quotations
-
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship
Preferred Qualifications & Training
Ideally, you will have some or all of the following:

Indentured Apprenticeship
-
City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications
-
Boiler / Burner training
-
Gas Safe - Domestic & Commercial works and pipework
-
OFTEC
-
Unvented hot water qualification
-
18th Edition IEE Wiring & Installation - advantageous
-
Health & Safety training
-
BMS & Controls experience - advantageous
Don't have every qualification? Additional training can be provided, and we would consider fully training the right candidate.
Experience Required
You should have
at least 5 years' experience within the building services industry, ideally in a similar Service & Maintenance role.
You will need to demonstrate a proven track record in:
