Duties
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units according to technical drawings and specifications
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, chiselling, and setting out work areas
- Mix mortar and ensure proper consistency for different types of brickwork
- Construct walls, facades, partitions, and other structures with attention to detail
- Repair or restore existing brickwork as required
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work site throughout each project phase
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role in the construction industry
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and safety procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
