About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our team. This role is focused on ensuring electrical compliance, managing certification, providing technical support to our engineers, and maintaining high standards across all domestic & commercial electrical projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with our operations team, electricians, and clients to ensure all electrical installations are completed in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations
- Act as the company's Qualified Supervisor for domestic electrical works.
- Review, verify, and approve Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Ensure all electrical works comply with BS 7671, Building Regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and site teams.
- Monitor quality, compliance, and certification processes across multiple projects.
- Carry out remote technical reviews and occasional site audits where required.
- Maintain accurate records of certification, testing, and compliance documentation.
- Support the planning and coordination of electrical works with the operations team.
- Investigate technical queries and provide practical solutions.
- Assist with developing and maintaining company electrical procedures and quality standards.
- Attending site where additional technical expertise or supervisory support is required.
Essential Requirements
- ECS Gold Card.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Previous experience as a Qualified Supervisor or Senior Electrician.
- Excellent understanding of domestic electrical installations and certification procedures.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own Transport
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
