This role should provide clerical and administrative support to ensure the efficient and cost effective operational running of the day to day business. The job holder will be expected to work with the Operations Manager and the Directors to develop systems, work within budgets, liaise with staff, customers and external suppliers to ensure the business runs smoothly.

- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and workloads, keeping calm in times of pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Areas of responsibilities
- Vehicles – ensuring MOT and insurances are completed
- Property – maintain agreements and be point of contact for any maintenance issues.
- Insurance - Support the Operations manager in dealing with any claims
- HR – assist with minute taking of meetings
- Health and Safety – Support the Operations Manager to ensure practice meets requirements
- Maintenance – co-ordinate with the Operations and Maintenance managers regarding any maintenance jobs.
- IT – support the operations manager with reporting and liaising with both staff and our IT provider
The above list includes all routine administration tasks, but the job holder will be expected to deal with and resolve any other day to day issues that arise within the practice as delegated by the operations manager.
We are a fiercely independent practice, the Directors all work within the practice, and we know our staff individually. We have team leads, team managers as well as the Directors so there is an accessible management structure in place. Ensuring our team has a work life balance is of the utmost importance to us.
