Trade Counter & Warehouse Sales Assistant - Responsibilities
To provide a reliable and courteous service to customers combined with a ‘can do’ and ‘friendly’ attitude.
To maintain company documentation and to be flexible in all areas of the business and to assist as advised by the line manager. Previous experience in the Plumbing & Heating industry would be a benefit but not essential.
1. Interacting with customers, understanding their requirements and providing them with the necessary product.
2. Assist the branch manager to maintain an efficient & safe warehouse operation
3. Ensuring the proper storage and inventory of all parts
4. Maintain required levels of inventory and reporting any loss or damages to the line manager.
5. To pick, process and load company vehicles
6. Attending telephone enquiries and giving necessary details to customers and taking orders.
7. To obtain good all-round knowledge of company products and to giving customers all details regarding the available products.
8. Will need fork lift and manual handling experience
9. To undertake any training that may be identified by the company in order to update and improve your performance or to further develop your job role.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: From £31,000.00 per year
