Overview

Duties
- Conduct regular mobile or foot patrols of assigned premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and identify potential threats or suspicious behavior
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary
- Perform loss prevention measures by inspecting for theft or security breaches and reporting findings accurately
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations to ensure thorough documentation of security activities
- Assist with first aid in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding security status and incident reports
Experience
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology enhances effectiveness in the role
- Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently when needed
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail during patrols and surveillance activities
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Capable of standing, walking, or driving for extended periods during shifts in various weather conditions
