Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista/Waiting team member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve customers with enthusiasm, and ensure a memorable experience for every visitor. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help us maintain our reputation for excellent service and delightful treats.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following company standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or desserts as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas, including the coffee station, dining area, and food prep zones, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Monitor stock levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when restocking is required.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to assist with food preparation tasks confidently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team environment.
This vacancy is to work on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the possibility of extra shifts to cover sickness/holidays. If you are unable to work these days, please do not apply.
