Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Domestic Cleaner to join our team! Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
- Maintain supplies by restocking cleaning products and notifying management when inventory is low
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly for optimal performance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning procedures
- Assist with basic cooking tasks if required, such as preparing simple meals or snacks for clients or residents
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment
- Experience working in hotel housekeeping or similar environments is a plus, highlighting adaptability and customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic cooking skills to support meal preparation when necessary
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
