We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Bar Support. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, glassware, and bar tools to ensure efficient service.
- Restock bar supplies including alcohol, mixers, and other essentials throughout shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Serve customers in a courteous and professional manner, taking orders when required.
- Support with basic food preparation tasks as needed to facilitate smooth service.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety at all times within the bar environment.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or cafés is desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation and basic drink mixing techniques is advantageous.
- Experience working as a barista or in serving roles will be highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure the bar area remains tidy and well-stocked.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
