Job Summary
IRS Construction is a specialist principal Contractor delivering facade remediation, Fire Safety and external wall insulation programmes on Higher Risk Buildings across the UK. Our work supports residents, property owners and managing agents to make buildings safer - Meeting the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Building Safety Regulator's gateway process.
We're are a hands-on, team-led business with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and looking after the people who live in the buildings we work on.
The Role
Based at one of our sites and reporting to our Contracts Manager, this is a varied, full-time role within the construction industry.
Duties
- Effectively manage both subcontractors and direct labour
- Maintain accurate site records including RFI's and re-measurement
- Monitor progress against contract programme
- Ensure the project has all necessary materials and plant
- report contract progress weekly to Contract Manager / Head Office
- Assist in the preparation of monthly contractors report for the formal site meetings
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with design team/client and supply chain
- Effective daily use of appropriate company information systems and databases
- Liaise with client team and customers to ensure the highest possible customer care
Essential Qualifications / Experience
- Hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Certificates (all must be in date)
- Have Worked on construction EWI Projects
- Good Knowledge of contracts
- Broad range of experience in refurbishment contracts
- Be committed to delivering a quality product
- Good communication and IT skills
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
