SDR is looking for a compassionate and confident Team Leader to join our new specialist supported living service in Worthing. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a bespoke service, leading a small team that provides exceptional, person-centred support to a young adult with autism, a learning disability, epilepsy and complex health needs.

Working Pattern
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating shifts Monday to Sunday
- Mixture of early and late shifts
About the Role
As Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day leadership while working alongside your team to deliver safe, consistent and person-centred support.
You'll play a key role in creating a stable, positive environment where the individual can thrive, enjoy meaningful activities and achieve the best possible quality of life.
The individual enjoys spending time outdoors, music, water play, trampolining and building positive relationships, so we're looking for someone who is energetic, engaging and committed to delivering truly personalised support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support a small team of Support Workers.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support.
- Support an individual with autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex health needs.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and health protocols are followed and regularly reviewed.
- Promote independence, choice, dignity and positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Support staff supervision, coaching and ongoing development.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Create a safe, structured and positive living environment.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker.
- Has experience supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Ideally has experience supporting individuals with epilepsy.
- Is confident leading, motivating and developing a team.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
