Anglo Adhesives are a small privately owned independent manufacturer of Solvent Based Adhesives, based on the Airfield in Melton Mowbray. Our products are supplied B2B and B2C into a wide variety of different industries such as Marine, Sign & POS, Construction, Shoe manufacture. The company supplies PVA glue, Paints, Inks and Dyes to the Education and Art & Craft Industry, and contract packs for high end brands. What you’ll be doing
Joining a very small office environment you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for the day to day handling of the Anglo Adhesives and Art & Crafts customer orders, making sure order requirements are met and dealing with all customer queries and responding to new business enquiries promptly. Delivering excellent communication, customer service, IT and administration skills throughout the business.
A typical day will consist of·
Answering incoming calls
Raising Sales Orders on Sage 50cloud
Liaising with Production regarding the despatch of sales orders and updating production schedules
Purchasing of raw materials and packaging items in line with customer demands (Sage50cloud)
Data entering stock figures from batch cards
Invoicing for despatched goods
Answering customer queries by phone / email.
Marketing to potential companies and ensuring sales continuity
Posting company news on social media channels
Sourcing alternative suppliers and resourcing products / goods
Updating costs/customer prices and customer records
Assisting with delivery issues UK and Export
Monthly / weekly sales reporting
Filing and all other office administrator duties
What you will bring to the role
Minimum of 2 years of customer service and admin experience in an office
A good level of GCSE English and Maths
Computer literate, preferably with knowledge in Sage50 cloud, CIM50, Excel and Microsoft windows
Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally
Identifying priorities and adjust work load accordingly.
Able to process and retain high volumes of information at any one time
Be a team player and work well in a small team of people
Multi-task skills and positive, can do attitude
Contribute to the success of the customer experience as well as the overall success of the company
