Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food preparation.
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management while maintaining consistency in food quality.
- Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and promote a cohesive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all kitchen activities.
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, implementing procedures for sanitation and safety.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in serving guests when required, providing excellent hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts.

- Sound knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
