Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Laboratory Coordinator / administrator to join our busy team. In this key role, you will oversee the daily coordination and Administration of the dental work in the dental laboratory, communication between dental professionals and lab technicians, Delivery drivers. Your proactive approach will facilitate efficient workflow, maintain high-quality standards,. This position offers an exciting opportunity, while ensuring smooth administrative processes.

Duties
- Coordinate the daily workflow, working closely with the dental laboratory teams to improve efficiency, resolve delivery issues & customer satisfaction.
- Book in and track incoming and outgoing work.
- Invoicing work on Lab Trac software
- Packing dental appliances and models for the delivery drivers and Postage.
- Communication with delivery drivers on new case collections.
- Liaise with dental practices regarding case requirements, delivery dates & queries
- Answering telephone and email enquires professionally.
- Schedule and prioritise work to help meet turn around times.
- Prepare documentation and maintain accurate laboratory records
- Support stock ordering & distribution to teams
- Preparing packaging materials and labels
- General office administration
- Maintaining reception appearance
- Meet & greet patients, sales representatives
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage mutiple priorities effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Proactive, solutions focused approach with confidence to take ownership of issues.
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment delivering excellent service.
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with wider teams.
- Handle customer concerns professionally & proactively, working to achieve positive timely outcomes.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a dental laboratory or dental practice
- Knowledge of dental laboratory workflows and terminology
- Experience using laboratory management software
- Accounts knowledge
Pay: £12.71 per hour
