Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team and deliver exceptional service across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in diverse environments.
- Service heating systems such as boilers, radiators, and heat pumps, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques to assemble, modify, or repair plumbing and heating components.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or replacements promptly.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment installation or maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Read technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute installation or repair plans.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer or similar role in residential or commercial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, heating units, and related mechanical components.
- Skilled in welding, assembly work, and the use of hand tools and power tools for various installation tasks.
- Familiarity with basic math for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting system issues.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery or vehicles related to transportation of equipment when necessary (commercial driving license preferred).
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to plumbing and heating work environments.
- Experience in carpentry or related trades is advantageous but not mandatory.
