Job Title: Ledger Clerk
Location: Ringwood BH24 3SG (Office based)
We are recruiting for Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team, based in our stunning Head Office, Ringwood.
You will provide efficient and timely recordings of ledger transactions for the company and the group, focusing on employee expenses, credit cards and subcontractor payments.
This involves processing employee claims whilst spot checking against our internal policies, preparing payment runs both on the accounts system and on the BACS system, liaising with employees and subcontractors as required and having a working knowledge of other tasks within the ledger team to assist when time allows.
About you
You will have confident numeracy skills and ideally, have proven professional experience in a similar Purchase Ledger Clerk role.
You will have good standard IT skills, especially when using Excel, Word and accounting systems. We are also looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, with effective communication skills in order to liaise with Suppliers and internal departments.
The successful Ledger Clerk will have excellent attention to detail, lots of initiative and understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
