Job Details
Oathall is seeking to recruit a Cover Supervisor / Curriculum Assistant to join our team in the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Department.
You would be expected to work Monday to Friday, 8.40am - 3.10pm. This includes an unpaid 30 minute break.
There are 5 teacher INSET days that you would not be expected to attend. The post is term time only.

What You Need to Succeed
The role involves in-class supervision of students, covering for teacher absences across all subject areas. You would also be used to provide support to students in and out of lessons as directed, as well as providing administrative support for teachers across all faculties.
Candidates must be literate, numerate and a competent user of IT, with the skill to support students across all age groups in secondary education. We offer a comprehensive training package including an induction programme. We welcome and support applications from those interested in looking to start a career in teaching.
Experience in this area isn’t necessary but a keenness to develop your skills and knowledge of working with young people is essential. A full induction package, ongoing training and development will be provided. The school is extremely supportive of staff considering progressing into teaching and can actively guide people into teacher training.
