We are seeking a Tarmacadam Surfacing operative to join our team.
You will work as part of a Multi-Skilled Tarmacadam Team which lays coated materials in the construction industry. Your role as Tarmacadam Surfacing operative will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Operating various items of plant associated with road surfacing (paver, rollers, tractor or chipper etc)
- Working with hot coated materials on site
- Laying coated materials in accordance with the specification.
- Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure all reinstatement works meet company and statutory quality standards.
- Communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients as required.
Requirements
- CSCS Card or equivalent
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Driving licence
Preferred Experience:
- Construction or aggregate handling background
- Previous work on reinstatement and backfilling
