Position Summary:
A metallurgical plant operating as part of a large global organization, is recruiting for a HR Generalist II to join their busy HR team. The HR Generalist II is responsible for implementing the annual Human Resources goals by coordinating and delivering the required activities in order to meet the functional and business unit objectives.
Duties Overview:
- Implement the organization’s HR processes, practices & systems to build organizational and people capability (e.g., staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relations).
- Implement workforce planning and forecasting initiatives in alignment with site HR goals and deliver accordingly.
- Provide advice on human resource, labor regulatory issues; provide coaching to leaders to support effective relationships with their employees.
- Implement cost effective and practical human resources solutions while ensuring the ability to attract and retain required skills.
- Implement projects as directed by site HR leadership, facilitate change management, engagement, coaching and advising of stakeholders.
- Utilize corporate support resources to deliver tactical and operational support and ensure effective delivery.
- Implement human resource improvements as directed in order to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency in the site.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Right to live and work in UK.
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree OR CIPD Qualified essential and,
- Two (2) years of relevant recent human resources experience or operations professional-level experience, which includes human resources work, OR,
- Post-secondary education (aka Associate’s degree) OR CIPD Associate Level and,
- Four (4) years of human resources experience or operations professional-level experience which includes human resources work including two (2) years relevant recent experience in human resources management or other relevant discipline.
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
- Must perform all work with discretion and confidentiality.
Desired Position Requirements:
- Experience with UK Employment Law.
- Experience managing and leading investigations.
- Experience creating, managing and leading HR training.

Pay: £34,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
